what's next?

A couple weeks ago I beckoned my neighbor Wendy over to show her my latest project (she is a really good sport - she humors me with all my projects and is so encouraging). When she got here she asked, "So, do you just go from one project to the next?" To this I thought quickly and replied that I do.

Here are my latest projects; who knows what will be next (actually I already know what is next -painting the basement and hanging pictures down there, oh and painting my chairs).

This is Lily's wall of L's. I love monogramming and it was such fun mod podging these.

I painted my table black. It looks so great and I am so glad I did it. Now I just need to paint the chairs.

Oh. I so want to paint my table black, but I can't paint my chairs. I will have to ask you for advice. Hmm... I love seeing your projects!

I love the "L"s. I have a whole bunch of "A"s for Austin's room & I haven't quite known what to do with them. You've given me inspiration. Like you, though, I move from one project to the next. I always seem to have a stash of them to catch up on so I may never get to the "A"s...

You did it, you painted the table!! It looks so good, I can't wait to see how the chairs turn out. You are so creative and talented, the L's look great too!
Also, yes we need to get together! I have been a slacker too, I have just been so busy with YW in Excellence that I haven't had much time for anything else other than homework and cooking! Ashley is not coming for Thanksgiving, she was able to find a way home, so she is going to surprise her Dad and Mitch! I'm sad she's not coming, but I'm glad she gets to go home, I'm sure they miss her a bunch! Let's plan something for the week after Thanksgiving, would that work for you?

I painted my table about a month ago. What finish did you use? Any sealer? Let me know how the paint is holding up...mine is getting a few dings in it.

Stacy, I spray painted it first, then did a wet sand over it to give it a better, more smooth looking finish. After that I put a couple coats of poly-urithane. It is totally durbale and I haven't had any trouble with dings...
