Last week was cousin Isabel's 1st birthday and my sister Renee made the most amazing cake for the celebration. She insists that anyone can do this, but I am convince that she is either incredibly gifted or has traded her soul to the devil for this fabulous talent. She does it all from scratch (she even makes her own fondant from scratch) and is so creative. You should have seen the frog she made a couple weeks ago. Oh, and those "ice cream cones" behind the cake are actually brownies with whipped cream. How clever.
