google

Have you ever Googled yourself? Well, I did this afternoon and found an interesting mix of people and organizations with my name. Here is a list of only a few (afterall, with two names as common as mine, you might imagine how many there really are):

In Singapore there is an organization called Emily Hill - you can go to http://www.emilyhill.org/ to find our more information - it seemed quite innovative. My biggest question is why is an organization in Asia called Emily Hill; a very English name? I might actually e-mail and ask.

In Australia there is a seemingly successful porn star named Emily Hill. I didn't really dig to deep for any other information. I am sure you can guess why.

A writer for "Spiked" online is named Emily Hill (other than the organization, she came up the most for various articles that she had written).

One of the main characters in Alfred Hitchcock's 1931 film "Rich and Strange" is named Emily Hill.

And lastly, there was a woman named Emily Hill who translates notable German literature into English.

So, there you have it. You ought to Google yourself. It is pretty fun to see who else is out there with your name.

Hi, Karen's friend here. I actually have an Emily Hill in my ward too. Funny how a name goes around. She works in Social Services and is in the area of child protection. What a hard thing to do. Anyways, I've done the google thing too but not much on me. Huh! I hope Utah is great.

Hello Emily, I came by to visit your blog and see what little giggley Emily from the DeLong house in Mesa from over 20 years ago was up to these days. Looks like lots of good. Where are you in the Salt Lake area? I wonder if we are close...I'm in Sandy.

You are a darling writer and have a beautiful family.

I saw your sissy at the reunion last week, I love and miss her terribly. I wish your family would do some more posting on the big blog...tell them to get writing! I keep checking to see if they have any updates, but evidently the only thing happening is Jane's custom dress is still being worn.

I'll come visit you again...
